Fidalgo Passage


Fidalgo Passage (49˚39'00" 126˚34'00" W of Bligh I, Nootka Sd, W side of Vancouver I). Spanish naval officer Salvador Fidalgo (1757–1803), in command of the San Carlos, sailed north from Mexico in 1790 with Francisco Eliza, in the Concepción, to reoccupy Nootka Sd.
