Finlayson Island (54˚32'00" 130˚28'00" S of entrance to Port Simpson, NW of Prince Rupert). Duncan Finlayson (c 1796–1862), from Scotland, joined the HBC in 1815 and worked as a supervisor in the Peace R and Red R districts in the 1820s.
