Finnerty Cove (48˚28'00" 123˚18'00" E side of Saanich Peninsula, N of Cadboro Bay and Victoria), Finnerty Point (53˚04'00" 129˚44'00" SW end of Nichol I, W of Trutch I, Estevan Group, N of Caamaño Sd). Michael Finnerty (1831–1930) was born at Mayo, Ireland, and came to Victoria in 1862 from the US, where he had found work in NY and Virginia.
