Forsyth Point

Forsyth Point (52˚10'00" 131˚04'00" N side of Houston Stewart Channel, between Moresby I and Kunghit I, QCI). William Codrington Forsyth was 1st lt on HMS Virago, under Cdr James Prevost, during its 1853 survey of Houston Stewart Channel. He served on the Pacific Station, 1852–55, and retired from the RN with the rank of capt in 1869.
