Fort Point (54˚59'00" 129˚55'00" N side of Nass Bay, N of Prince Rupert). The HBC’s Ft Nass was established near this spot in 1831 by chief trader Capt Aemilius Simpson. He died there later that year, and the post was renamed Fort Simpson in his honour.
