Francis Island

Francis Island (48˚55'00" 125˚31'00" SE end of Ucluelet Inlet, Barkley Sd, W side of Vancouver I). Peter Francis (1826–85), a native of Jersey in the Channel Is, was owner of the sloop Leonede and an early trader in the Ucluelet area.
