Gaarden Point

Gaarden Point (52˚15'00" 127˚22'00" SE side of King I, W side of Burke Channel, E of Bella Bella). Ole J Gaarden (1842–1914) was a blacksmith, one of the original Norwegian settlers who colonized the Bella Coola valley in 1894. He received a Crown land grant in the area in 1901.
