Garry Point (49˚07'00" 123˚12'00" N mouth of the Fraser R, SW tip of Lulu I). Nicholas Garry (c 1782–1856) was deputy gov of the HBC, 1822–35. Born in Surrey, UK, he became a merchant in London, trading initially with Russia. His stepfather, Thomas Langley, was an HBC director, and Garry was named a director also about 1817.
