Genn Islands

Genn Islands (54˚06'00" 130˚17'00" Between Smith I and Porcher I, Marcus Passage, S of Prince Rupert). Edward Hawke Genn, from Falmouth, Cornwall, was a midshipman aboard HMS Scout, under Capt John Price, on the Pacific Station, 1865–68, where he temporarily served as a draftsman on the hired survey vessel Beaver, under Lt Daniel Pender.
