German Point

German Point (52˚05'00" 128˚09'00" NE entrance to Hunter Channel, just S of Bella Bella). Capt Phillip Barry German was one of the first RCN officers to graduate from the new Royal Naval College of Canada, established at Halifax in 1911. He was a senior naval officer at Esquimalt in 1944, when this name was adopted.
