Glendale Cove


Glendale Cove (50˚40'00" 125˚44'00" S side of Knight Inlet). Glendale was the ancestral home in Scotland of William Macdonald (1832–1916), a Victoria merchant and politician who served as a BC senator, 1871–1915 (see Macdonald Point). William Blakeney, assistant surveying officer under Lt Daniel Pender aboard the Beaver in 1865, named a group of geographical features in this area after Macdonald and his family.
