Grace Harbour


Grace Harbour (50˚02'55" 124˚44'56" S side of Gifford Peninsula, facing Malaspina Peninsula, NW of Powell R). This major Sliammon First Nation winter village site, known as K’ák’ak’i, was also shared by the Klahoose and Homalco people. The name possibly derives from the word k’íymtan, meaning “camping place.”
