Gribbell Islet (54˚19'52" 130˚26'47" Off Metlakatla in Venn Passage, just NW of Prince Rupert). According to Capt John Walbran, author of British Columbia Coast Names, this feature was named in 1868 by Lt Daniel Pender after Elizabeth Florence Isabel Gribbell (b 1866), the eldest daughter of Rev Francis Gribbell (see Gribbell I), rector of St John’s church, Victoria.
