Guard Rock (51˚00'00" 127˚31'00" Part of the Southgate Group, NW Queen Charlotte Str). So named by Cdr John Parry, aboard the W coast survey vessel Egeria in 1903–6, because the rock guards the anchorage from the prevailing swell outside.
