Halliday Island

Halliday Island (51˚19'00" 127˚38'00" W of Central I, Smith Sd, N of Port Hardy), Halliday Point (50˚55'00" 126˚18'00" S side of Kingcome Inlet, NE of E end of Queen Charlotte Str). William May Halliday (1867–1957) and Ernest Augustus Halliday (1868–1961) were brothers from Ont who moved to the head of Kingcome Inlet in 1895 and built up a remote cattle ranch that, despite its isolation, became a noted coastal landmark.
