Hand Bay

Hand Bay (50˚56'00" 127˚05'00" S side of Actaeon Sd, N of Drury Inlet and Queen Charlotte Str), Hand Island (48˚57'00" 125˚19'00" Near NW end of the Broken Group, Barkley Sd, W side of Vancover I). RN officer Henry Hand (d 1890) was 1st lt aboard HMS Hecate, the main survey vessel on the BC coast in 1861–62, under Capt George Richards.
