Harlock Island

Harlock Island (49˚07'00" 123˚10'00" Mouth of Fraser R, N of Reifel I), Harlock Islet (48˚40'45" 123˚23'52" W side of Page Passage, off NE Saanich Peninsula, just N of Sidney). Henry Edward Harlock (d 1894), who came to Canada from the US in 1884, owned land at the mouth of the Fraser R and established a salmon cannery, Harlock Packing Co, on the river’s S shore, just W of Ladner, in 1887.
