Heddington Point


Heddington Point (53˚08'00" 128˚34'00" N entrance to Aaltanhash Inlet, E of Princess Royal I). Thomas Heddington (1774–1852) joined the RN in 1786 and served as a young midshipman aboard HMS Chatham on Capt George Vancouver’s voyage to the PNW. He was a skilled artist, and a few of his landscape drawings survive from the voyage, along with his logbooks.
