Hibben Island

Hibben Island (52˚59'00" 132˚17'00" Between Moore Channel and Inskip Channel, NW side of Moresby I, QCI). Thomas Napier Hibben (1828–90) was born at Charleston, S Carolina, and came to Victoria from San Francisco in 1858. He formed a partnership with James Carswell and purchased Kierski’s bookstore, then bought out his partner in 1866.
