Hickey Point

Hickey Point (50˚27'00" 126˚05'00" On NE side of Vancouver I, S of Port Neville and Johnstone Str). Patrick Joseph Hickey (c 1852–1933), born at Torbay, Nfld, came to BC in 1891 and joined the Canadian Pacific Navigation Co as a quartermaster in 1893. He was married twice, first to Catherine Francis Ryan (1858–1922), from Boston, and then, at the age of 73, to Catherine Flanagan (1869–1935), from England.
