Holmes Inlet

Holmes Inlet (49˚27'00" 126˚14'00" E side of Sydney Inlet, Clayoquot Sd, W side of Vancouver I). Col William Josiah Hartley Holmes, DSO (1871–1954), was born at St Catharines, Ont, and became a BC land surveyor in 1893. He completed a number of triangulation surveys in this district in 1913.
