Hotham Sound

Hotham Sound (49˚52'00" 124˚02'00" N side of Jervis Inlet, E of Powell R and NW of Vancouver). Adm William Hotham (1736–1813) won distinction as a young lt when he captured a 26-gun French privateer while in temporary charge of a smaller sloop.
