Hotspring Island (52˚35'00" 131˚26'00" Between Ramsay I and Murchison I, SE of Lyell I, QCI). This scenic spot had a fearsome reputation for many Haida, who knew it as the Island of Fire. Mining engineer Francis Poole called it Volcanic I in 1862.
