Howell Rock (52˚30'00" 129˚02'00" Entrance to Weeteeam Bay, W side of Aristazabal I). Cpl Robert Howell was a member of the Columbia detachment of Royal Engineers, which served in BC 1858–63. He travelled on board the Thames City from England with the main contingent of soldiers, arriving at Victoria in 1859.
