Hunt Rock

Hunt Rock (50˚54'00" 127˚40'00" E side of Nigei I, off N end of Vancouver I). William Hunt (1866–1949) was a son of HBC factor and Ft Rupert storekeeper Robert Hunt and his Tlingit wife, Mary Ebbets. His older brother, George Hunt, was an important interpreter and artifact collector for anthropologist Franz Boas.
