Hvidsten Point

Hvidsten Point (51˚57'00" 127˚45'00" E side of Burke Channel, SE of Bella Bella). John Hvidsten (1873–1922) was one of the original Norwegian colonists to settle and farm in the Bella Coola valley. He married Gea Anna Fosbak (1880–1964) at Nanaimo in 1898 and later changed the family name to Widsten.
