Iphigenia Point (54˚11'00" 133˚01'00" S side of Langara I, QCI). The 180-tonne Iphigenia Nubiana was one of the fur-trading ships sent from Macao to the BC coast in 1788 by an alliance known as the Merchant Proprietors. Its master was William Douglas, and it accompanied the slightly larger vessel Felice Adventurer, under John Meares, a principal backer of the voyage.
