Ivanhoe Rock (50˚22'00" 125˚32'00" S of E Thurlow I, Johnstone Str). This hazard was reported to the hydrographic service by Capt R E Grafton of the Ivanhoe, a 165-tonne, 30-m tug built at Vancouver in 1907. In 1913 the 15-passenger vessel was owned by Kingcome Navigation Co and serviced logging camps on Kingcome Inlet. Later the Ivanhoe operated in the San Juan Is. Sometime after 1938, when it was refitted with a diesel engine, the tug was sold to Mexican interests.
