Jensen Cove


Jensen Cove (50˚43'00" 127˚28'00" E side of Hardy Bay, NE end of Vancouver I). Probably named after Niels Peder Jensen (1865–1934), who was born in Denmark, came to Canada in 1897 and settled that year at Cape Scott with his wife, Maren (1864–1934), and their two children. Jensen Ck, a tributary of the San Josef R, is likely named for him as well. Jensen was one of the founders of the Danish agricultural colony at the cape.
