Joe’s Bay

Joe’s Bay (51˚39'00" 127˚45'00" N side of Fish Egg Inlet, E of Fitz Hugh Sd and Calvert I). According to records at BC’s Geographical Names Office, a man named Joe Moore homesteaded in the area from 1926 until the 1960s and kept a float camp at this location. The name was adopted in 1987.
