Kelsey Bay (50˚24'00" 125˚58'00" S side of Johnstone Str, NW of Campbell R). Charles William Kelsey (1880–1953) came to BC from Washington state in 1906 and handlogged with his brother-in-law on the central coast, eventually pre-empting land at Topaze Hbr. He and his wife, Imogene, and their three daughters became Hardwicke I’s first settlers in 1911.
