Kirshaw Islets (49˚10'30" 125˚47'04" Off E side of Meares I, entrance to Mosquito Hbr, Clayoquot Sd, W side of Vancouver I). This name is a misspelled tribute to William Kershaw, who received a Crown grant of land on Schooner Cove in 1894 and an additional grant in the Clayoquot area in 1914.
