Kitson Point

Kitson Point (53˚02'00" 131˚47'00" N side of Louise I, E of Moresby I, QCI). Jonathan Kitson moved to the QCI in 1905 and built one of the first homes at Queen Charlotte City about 1909. His son John attended the community’s original school. The following year Jonathan obtained land on NE Moresby I and became a pioneer farmer and rancher at Sandspit. There is a 1949 death record for Jonathan Kitson, aged 88, at N Vancouver. D
