Knight Island (51˚00'00" 127˚32'00" One of the Southgate Group, NW side of Queen Charlotte Str, N of Port Hardy), Knight Range (52˚46'00" 129˚13'00" N end of Aristazabal I). Lt John Harry Knight (1881–1958) was an RN surveyor on the BC coast aboard HMS Egeria, under Cdr John F Parry, in the early 1900s and joined the Canadian Hydrographic Service in 1911.
