Kootenay Inlet (52˚51'00" 132˚11'00" NW side of Moresby I, NW of Tasu Sd, QCI), Kootenay Point (52˚50'00" 132˚16'00" Just S of Kootenay Inlet). The name is an adaptation of the traditional Haida term for the inlet and was adopted in 1946. It has no connection with the Kootenay region of SE BC.
