Lane Islet

Lane Islet (49˚09'00" 125˚48'00" Dawley Passage, off SE Meares I, Clayoquot Sd, W side of Vancouver I). Gerald Eyre Lane pre-empted land on the N side of Calmus Passage in 1913 and received a Crown grant in 1919. He died at Saanich in 1966, aged 76. The name was adopted in 1934.
