Leighton Point

Leighton Point (53˚04'00" 129˚07'00" W side of Barnard Hbr, S end of Whale Channel, NW side of Princess Royal I). James Buie Leighton (1851–1945) was the younger brother of Margaret Leighton (see Leighton Island). He was also born in Moray, Scotland, and came with his family to the US in the early 1850s and to Victoria in Sept 1863.
