Limekiln Cove

Limekiln Cove (48˚27'00" 123˚27'00" NE side of Esquimalt Hbr, just W of Victoria). For many years this body of water, located at the end of Helmcken Rd, was known as Helmcken Cove (after early HBC medical officer and politician John Helmcken, who owned but never lived on the surrounding land), and it appears as such in the 1966 gazetteer.
