Lindbergh Island

Lindbergh Island (49˚31'00" 124˚17'00" Scottie Bay, N side of Lasqueti I, Str of Georgia). In 1927, after Charles Augustus Lindbergh (1902–74) made his historic solo, non-stop trans-Atlantic flight, Lasqueti I resident and US native Paul Lambert requested—through his MP, Alan Neill—that this feature be named for the world’s newest hero.
