Lindsay Rocks (52˚34'00" 129˚15'00" W of entrance to Clifford Bay, W side of Aristazabal I). Sgt James Lindsay (1829–90) was a member of the Columbia detachment of the Royal Engineers, which served in BC 1858–63. He was born at Fife, Scotland, joined the Royal Artillery at the age of 18 and served for many years at Gibraltar.
