Lorenz Point

Lorenz Point (50˚10'00" 127˚38'00" E side of Nasparti Inlet, between Kyuquot Sd and Quatsino Sd, NW side of Vancouver I). Ernest Louis A Lorenz (1864–1911), from Germany, went to sea at the age of 15 and arrived in the PNW on a barque named Sovereign of the Seas. He settled first at Nanaimo, then joined the sealing schooner Juanita in 1891 and was later master of the schooners Theresa and Mascott.
