Lovekin Rock (49˚04'05" 125˚45'20" N end of Long Beach, SE of Tofino, W side of Vancouver I). Named for businessman and philanthropist Arthur Charles Lovekin (1862–1949), who was born in Ont and died at Victoria but lived most of his life in California, moving there in the 1880s and working as a surveyor and in the gold-processing and funeral industries.
