Lupsi Cupsi Point


Lupsi Cupsi Point (49˚15'00" 124˚49'00" N end of Alberni Inlet, S central Vancouver I). A Nuu-chah-nulth village named Lupsi-Kupsi, noted for its fine sand beach and rich beds of camas and wild onion bulbs, once occupied the area where the paper mill now sits. Nearby Lupsi Cupsi Ck also takes its name from this former First Nation community.
