MacLeod Shoal (52˚07'00" 131˚12'00" Entrance to Louscoone Inlet, S end of Moresby I, QCI). William MacLeod was 1st mate of the King George, under Capt Nathaniel Portlock, which made an early fur-trading expedition to the PNW, accompanied by the smaller Queen Charlotte, under Capt George Dixon.
