Mary Point

Mary Point (50˚03'00" 124˚53'00" SE tip of Cortes I, NE end of Str of Georgia). In June 1792, Capt George Vancouver named the two features that bookend the entrance to Desolation Sd after two of his sisters: Mary, born in 1753, and Sarah, born in 1752 (see also Sarah Point).
