McMullen Point

McMullen Point (50˚15'00" 125˚24'00" Discovery Passage, S of Elk Bay, W of Quadra I, NW of Campbell R). Maj James Edward Temple McMullen, from Vancouver, was killed in action Oct 6, 1943, aged 31, during the Allied invasion of Italy. An officer with the Seaforth Highlanders, he had worked as a lawyer before enlisting in the Canadian Army. McMullen is buried at the Moro R Canadian War Cemetery in Italy.
