McMullin Group

McMullin Group (52˚03'00" 128˚25'00" S of the Bardswell Group, Queens Sd, SW of Bella Bella). Lt Col John Hugh McMullin (1869–1943), a British Army officer born at Madras, India, and educated in England, was the respected commissioner of the BC provincial police, 1923–39. He came to Canada in 1893 and settled in the Okanagan, then joined the force in 1901 after serving in the Boer War.
