Meyer Island

Meyer Island (53˚14'00" 132˚11'00" Kagan Bay, off S side of Graham I, Skidegate Inlet, QCI). William Meyer (1850–1915) was born in Germany and worked as a seaman around the world, arriving at Victoria in 1875. He married Henrietta Marcella Moore (1857–1935), the daughter of well-known riverboat owner Capt William Moore, at Victoria in 1876.
