Michelsen Point

Michelsen Point (50˚35'00" 127˚42'00" S side of Holberg Inlet, S of Straggling Is, Quatsino Sd, NW Vancouver I). Named in 1970 after Hans Theodore Michelsen (1875–1956, sometimes spelled Michelson), who received a Crown grant of land between Holberg and San Josef Bay in 1912. He died at Nanaimo. This feature was formerly known as Mickelsen Point.
