Mill Point (48˚40'22" 123˚24'56" W side of Tsehum Hbr, S entrance to Blue Heron Basin, NE end of Saanich Peninsula, N of Victoria). Henry Brackman (see Brackman I) built a small gristmill at this location in 1878. Four years later, David Russell Ker (see Ker I) joined him as a partner. The Brackman-Ker Milling Co went on to build a larger mill at Victoria and become one of Canada’s most successful producers of flours and animal feeds.
